TREK 8700 ZX 1995

TREK 8700 ZX 1995

Trek 8700 Carbon ZX series 1995 retro mountainbike. One of the first Carbon frames in a almost perfect condition. It comes with some positive patina, but what do think from a bike from 1995.

Everything has been taken apart, cleaned, greased and refitted. We also gave it new tires, grips, cables, chain and sprocket and other lovely stuff. Great looking bike.

TREK 9700 1996

TREK 9700 1996

Trek 9700 Carbon SHX series 1996 retro mountainbike. Completely stripped and a new coat of color. We choose for a Candy Teal blue, which we thought suited the bike nicely. We also gave it new tires, grips, cables, chain and sprocket and other lovely stuff. Great looking bike.

Handmade in Waterloo, WI in 1996. This OCLV (Optimum Compaction Low Void) carbon frame is a responsive, lightweight, off road, cross country machine.

MANITOU FS 1993

MANITOU FS 1993

What else we can say about this 1993 Manitou FS build by Answer. One of the first full-suspension bikes that shocked the world. Build by Doug Bradbury, before he sold his Colorado based company to Answer, was a mountain-biking pioneer. He was at the cutting edge of engineering and machining bespoke parts and frames specifically to suit this hurly-burly new sport.

Considered revolutionary for a suspension bike at the time, the design essentially used fork legs for the rear struts. While the suspension was active and fairly plush, the frames were plagued with cracking, particularly at the headtube. This one has been checked and repaired. The construction of these frames made extensive use of hollow CNC junctions, resulting in a very light frame.

RITCHEY ULTRA REPLICA

RITCHEY ULTRA REPLICA

We found this Ritchey frame on the World Wide Web and it was in a very bad shape. Most of the original paint was gone and it was unrecognizable. But, the frame had no rust, no dents or big scratches, is light and had Ritchey drop outs. So we decided it to bring it back to life.

We gave it a fresh new coat of white, sparkled some gold dust over it, new decals, 6 layer of clearcoat and it was ready for parts. A Shimano LX M570 groupset is installed, new chain and sprocket, new cables and more lovely stuff. This one is ready to shred the streets.

TITANIUM BE ONE

BE ONE TITANIUM

We found this nineties Be ONE titanium frame in Holland and brought it back to our workshop. Frame had already been stripped down from paint and we love the titanium look. Frame is straight but had seen its share of abuse, however still in decent shape.

POSITIVE PATINA

Build up with a Shimano XT M735 groupset, including the rapidfire shifters. Mavic CrossMAX Ceramics wheelset also had to be in there. Super light and fast bike

ROCKY MOUNTAIN FUSION

ROCKY MOUNTAIN FUSION

We found this nineties Rocky Mountain Fusion frame in Germany and just had to have it. We stripped it down and gave it a new Black and White paintjob. New decals were ordered in the USA.

SHRED MATERIAL

We decided to give this bike a Shimano XTR M952 Groupset. Race Face Turbine Crankset and gold nuts and bolts. Absolute killer bike to shred.
